If you haven't seen Vigor, this won't be funny.

If you haven't been reading User Friendly: The Comic Strip, this won't
be funny. So go to http://www.userfriendly.org/ and enjoy the funny
there.

If you have seen Vigor, and read the User Friendly strip for 1 Nov 03,
this probably still won't be funny, but it'll be as funny as it gets.

This is a visualization plugin for XMMS (the X Multimedia System). It
displays a Vigor that will dance. Sort of.

To install xmms-vigor, you'll need XMMS and SDL. The plugin also will
use GTK 1.2, but you'll already have that for XMMS.

After that, it's the normal "./configure ; make ; make install"
routine. You know it. You love it. If you don't, read the INSTALL
file.

Note that, while XMMS multiple visualization plugins, SDL doesn't, so
running Vigor along with certain other visualization plugins will
cause XMMS to crash.

This seems to work okay-- mostly-- on FreeBSD box. I haven't tried it
on Linux or any other OS; let me know how it goes!. It presently also
requires X, although if somebody is interested in porting it to a
different window system there's probably not much to do.

Please send bugs, reports, leftover Halloween candy, or whatever else
to piquan@users.sourceforge.net.
